That’s because sans the crowd screams, the listening experience becomes yours and yours alone—your fever, your palpitations, your walls closing in. After enough earworming synths and stinging beats, it's suddenly clear. You are being electrocuted. The double disc Delicacies, on which “Aspic” resides, arrives November 30 via the duo's label of the same name—and while we do endorse the record (it’s great), we will say that perhaps you should enlist a buddy for the first listen in case someone needs to call an ambulance.
