In many ways, the new Lone mini-album is perfect. The word 'crystalline' is an oddly overused one in music talk today, but the Nottingham, England producer's Emerald Fantasy Tracks really does sound like house music if houses were made out of the precious, glimmering stones of the record's title. "Re-schooling" is a flawless example of the vivid synth opulence scheduled to arrive in December through Magic Wire Recordings, Lone adept at making his listeners dream, through cut, yearning cries and thumping bass kicks, of richer nights, richer moments, richer club memories.
