You can always kind of tell, I think, when a remixer has shed sweat making sure their work kicks just right. Being huge OMD fans, Monarchy sought out the legendary synthpop duo to ask about remix possibilities before the call came from any cred-chasing middleman. As such, the giddy synth flurries and celestial voices of their "Sister Marie Says" do feel slightly reverential, but it's a reverence that helps retain the soaring purity that most defines OMD's music. The original version of this track—taken from new OMD album History Of Modern—arrives as a single through 100% on November 15.
