The personnel behind this remix of "From The Drop" represent three different generations of UK club music, but the youngest man here doesn't sound scared of the past or the company he finds himself in. Instead, L-Vis 1990 turns the track into something truly his own, as lithe and as live as you'd expect from a producer whose London frontier Night Slugs label can't seem to stop releasing the best tracks of the year so far. MJ Cole and Wiley have had and will have bigger hits, but this is a fine addition to their canon—the original's out November 1 through Cole's own Prolific Recordings.
