Not to piss all over The Wombats' skinnies or anything, but this track really is all about LA's Superhumanoids. The quartet have turned what was a smart enough but ultimately generic NME-indie original into a throbbing, curvaceous pre-club nerve readier. I can't decide if it's more like a blitzkrieg round of 9pm vodka shots or the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man ambling around Berlin at dusk trying to fall in love with everyone. At this stage, I'm edging tentatively towards the latter. Superhumanoids just released their debut Urgency EP through Oh! Inverted World in the UK and Hit City in the US.
