A nimble Floridian spitter (Laws), a band of horny brothers (The Hypnotic Brass Ensemble), and an R&B singer (Dave Young) form like Voltron to color in the lines of Laws' autobiography on "Never". The nine-member brass bros—who graduated from playing subway stations to appearing on the new Gorillaz album—lay it on so thick that only a razor-sharp flow like Laws' could cut such a clear path in the track, but this kid can flat-out rap.
