The first thing to note about "My Body" is that it is layered with repeated samples of R.Kelly's opening declarative wail from "Bump 'n Grind" and laced with major more-than-Casio sauve. But that's to be expected from Sammy Bananas, a guy who has the ability to flip R&B favorites into electronic swirls. In case you're unfamiliar, as one half of Telephoned, he, along with house diva Maggie Horn, concocted Off The Hook, a not-quite-cover album of crucial '00s hip-hop and R&B tracks. "My Body" is another slick nod to an earlier hit. If you're into dance music, but no slow jam buff, then this might be where you discover why Kells is called the Pied Piper.
