DOWNLOAD: Holy Other - Yr Love
The ghostly, groaning hypnagogic-house of Holy Other's "Yr Love"—out on 7-inch through Transparent later this month—has much in kind with Teengirl Fantasy, Blondes and a few other acts who've felt the warm breath of our love on their necks many times before. That's not to say we find this any less thrilling as a result—its spectral synths, disembodied cries and cloud-cutting snare thwacks are the sort of calling cards that make 'hyp-house' my favourite new, entirely fictional micro-scene. I'm fairly confident the name'll catch on. Like so much of this ilk, "Yr Love" will intoxicate and entrance you.
