PREMIERE: Kordan - Mirror + Houses - Endless Spring (Kordan Remix)
Brooklyn-by-way-of-Puerto-Rico dreampoppers Kordan ride in on the prettiest post-punk swell. It’s all so gloriously cinematic—the breathy vocals, the long-form riffs, the muted keys, and wind-swept melody. “Mirror” is black and white music: decidedly moody, propulsive, glinting with infinite shades of gray, while the second track showcases the band’s remix chops in a quivering edit of Houses’ (previously summery) “Endless Spring.” Kordan’s debut, The Longing, will arrive in October through the good folks at Last Bummer.
