Ah, September—whose days are far and low and too beautiful to last. And ah for The Drums, whose songs are the same. “When I Come Home” is a blurry, sepia-toned, smiling-through-the-tears jaunt into the beachy recesses you thought you’d repressed. And oh, how it hurts so good. All the sand-licked pop you can bear can be found on the band’s eponymous album, on Downtown now.
