Makes sense that Zola Jesus, aka LA's lone Nika Roza Danilova, cleaned up her act a little for the release of her debut album. Just enough muck remains here, though, to make "Sea Talk" sound like a siren song sent up from murky depths: Danilova's vocal reaching up through scuzz to lament the men lost to waves.
