Prettiness is an underrated virtue in pop music, but it's something Shugo Tokumaru has by the bucketload. Or at least I assume he does – I won't tell lies and pretend I know what Shugo's singing about here, but it'd be an act of colossal self-sabotage if "Rum Hee" was about anything other than the simple pleasures of life enjoyed with the one you love. I think that's general enough to cover all bases, and this, after all, pop music – the Tokyo native's new album Port Entropy will arrive on October 18 through Souterrain Transmissions.
