Revolver are kind of like the French Grizzly Bear—precious, endearing, heavenly voiced, and preferable to light, olde timey instrumentation. Also like Grizzly Bear, they sound great remixed, as they are here by Parisian disco eccentric Joakim, whose version of "Bird In Dm" is (of course) significantly more decadent than the original. It's basically a ballooning orb of wet modular synths and big top circus weirdnes, so enjoy submerging yourself in that. Also keep an eye out for Revolver's new album, Music For Awhile—it's due August 24 via Astralwerks.
