DOWNLOAD: Outasight - Near The End (feat. Freddie Gibbs)
Yonkers, NY native Outasight and the new pride of Gary, IN, Freddie Gibbs, have little in common stylistically—Gibbs' is a classically verbose streetwise professor and Outasight is a talented soul/rap/whatever hybridizer touching on topics that are, frankly, far less gritty. But they're both up-and-comers, and up-and-comers have to (should?) help each other out, so Gibbs hopped on the third verse of "Near The End"—a bluesy, Roots-ish backseat funk cut—and dirtied things up a bit. More, presumably, where this came on Outasight's debut LP, which is due imminently through Warner Bros./Asylum.
