Exile's last album, Radio, is a cut-up quilt of random samples pulled from LA radio airwaves, filtered through jagged beats and Exile's keen ear for fetching melody. Never one to rest on his laurels, he's taken the project twenty-one steps further by giving the keys to a dream list of the MCs, producers and remixers he'd hope to meet in heaven. With so many heavies chipping in–Evidence, Alchemist, Fashawn, Shafiq Husayn, Aloe Blacc, Free the Robots etc.–it's tough to find a good starting point. Sometimes the best place to start is in the past; in this case, with the only song on A/M that features Exile's Below The Heavens collaborator Blu–the jazzy romanticism of "Love Line."
