DOWNLOAD: PO PO - Bummer Summer
Shifting from their earlier, harsher sludge-punk street rips, Philadelphian scuzz bros (literally, brothers) PO PO sunk some legitimate melodies into the clogged-pores grunge of "Bummer Summer". It sounds like a lot of things–Bleach-era Nirvana, not showering for two weeks and listening to Bleach-era Nirvana with black lights on–but it doesn't exude a whole lot of bumminess. Just the vibe of an awesomely, impossibly grimy jam room.
