What with that name, the song's name, the plaid shirts and the big ol' balloons, it's not exactly hard to see who Gallops influences might be, but "Miami Spider" sounds reassuringly self-confident nonetheless: cloaking itself in wriggling guitar motifs and cartoon synth sounds.
