Predictability isn’t always bad, and with The Thermals it's basically comforting–their albums are like a yearly reminder that some of the best fun involves three chords, some amps, and a bottomless well of positive energy. The most consistently endearing pop-punk band around? Absolutely, and we're not the sort to use the p-p word as a slight. Kill Rock Stars won't release new album Personal Life until September 7, but first single "I Don't Believe You" is already breaking hearts in MPfree form. All smiles over here.
