It's not just those in plaid pilfering the Nineties for lo-fi fixes. This John Digweed and Nick Muir remix of "Stung" sounds like one of those surly poptronica cuts that habitually haunted the upper echelons of the UK singles charts at the back end of that decade. It's moody and sore - pre-millennial blues? Not sure what Mr. Fogg's excuse is over a decade later, though I guess the whole "kicking nest = getting stung" love metaphor thing still works just as well as it ever did. The original version of "Stung" is out August 9th, and is taken from Fogg's 2010 debut album Moving Parts.
