Sepalcure's alloy of mirthy, dew-drenched, for-lack-of-a-better-word dubstep and affected house acapellas falls in with two things–the prevailing sound of their label, Hotflush (the melancholy excavation of bass, basically) and what they and a few others are calling "lovestep," a tenderer alternative to bazooka-wielding headbangers like Rusko and Caspa. The duo of Praveen Sharma (Percussion Lab founder, also of Praveen & Benoit) and Machinedrum just released their debut EP, Love Pressure, but for whatever reason "Feeling That I Know So Well" is not on it. It's here, though, waiting for you, your incense burner, and someone special.
