PREMIERE: Leni Ward - Opening Doors (Warrior One Remix)
Perhaps keen to ingratiate himself, first, with Leni Ward's silken throat, Warrior One keeps things charming and in control for the first half of this remix: glassy tones cascading over starry-eyed synth bursts and percussion that sounds ready, but reined in. Turns out all that was a Trojan ploy, however, and as the thing unfurls the Warrior lets loose with the agitated anger sounds for which he's known. "Opening Doors" is out August 2 through The Library Recordings.
