Allez Allez's new EP for RVNG is called Hideous Racket, which is hilariously misleading. As you'll hear in "Weird Science," the British twosome have nothing in mind but the most psychedelic cleansing of your ear canal; their synths moist, phosphorescent, and gelatinous; their tempo unhurried and almost blissful. It's like you're floating down a river of coconut water on a raft of neon pool noodles–that kind of relaxing. Or, the song's video, which we did not watch before writing the previous sentences, but is full of similarly soothing, colorful weirdness. Pick up the whole racket over at the RVNG store.
