CONTEST: The Creators Project Launch Event In New York City
Fair warning: If you don't live in New York City (or can't travel here easily), skip over this one. Everyone else, pay attention. You might have heard about this enormous blow out Vice and Intel and throwing for their Creators Project initiative. If not, it's basically a mini-festival at Manhattan's Milk Studios this Saturday, June 26. Interpol are playing. So are–deep breath–Mark Ronson, The Rapture, Gang Gang Dance, Sleigh Bells, Salem, Neon Indian, and Die Antwoord. Nacho Lovers, XXXChange, N.A.S.A., Tame Impala, Lemonade, Restless People, Telepathe, and a ton of others are DJ'ing. And there will be exhibits and films from Spike Jonze, the xx, Nick Zinner, and Danny Perez and Animal Collective. This is not a small event. The RSVP list has been closed for awhile, so the only way to gain entry is to either parachute onto the roof of Milk (not recommended) or win one of the two pairs of tickets we're giving away (highly recommended).
