If retro sounds are supposed to act as some kind of musical anchor in these, y'know, fast-moving timez, then "I Know We'll Ever" may disappoint: sounding, as it does, like English, eighties indie melancholia given steel wings. Guitars flit and Rose Elinor Dougall's vocals are so striking they'll impose upon and make themselves part of any moment you're part of.
