Welcome to the third RCRD THRWBCK, where each weekend a different editor will select a record from our virtual stacks that they deem worthy for reevaluation and/or reintroduction.
Across the world, ten new lo-fi bands will have formed by the time you reach the end of this sentence. Given that, it's easy to forget what a breath of fresh air No Age were when they first came clattering into earshot. Released in 2007, "Neck Escaper" was something of an early anthem for the duo and its gallant swing endures even if Randy Randall and Dean Spunt now prefer to make lusher, more overwhelming noises together.
