Somewhere between the grandiose stadium strains and the shimmery ‘70s era feedback, Brooklyn quintet ArpLine is rocking us right out of this morning and into the weekend. And a manic backstage montage with the entire RCRD LBL crew stealing drumsticks, falling through banners of silk tied to mics, making human pyramids, and breaking things. What can we say? We like music that could be the soundtrack to sitcoms starring us. ArpLine’s debut Travel Book is out this fall and co-produced and/or mastered by the folks behind The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, TV On The Radio, Grizzly Bear, Jeff Buckley and The Shins. In the meantime, they’re opening up for another band we dig, School of Seven Bells, this month.
