PREMIERE: Indian Jewelery - Excessive Moonlight

There's a lot of unintelligibly in this Indian Jewelry song. Words aren't sung so much as they are cooed into a cavernous reverb, each echo spilling into the next word so you don't know where either begin or end. Everything but the drums, which provide steady, slumping, desert-rock momentum, is equally overlapped–guitars colliding with bass colliding with synths colliding with handclaps colliding with a lot more reverb. It mimics the delerium of being in-between consciousnesses, which is really the feeling all good psych songs are after.
Indian Jewelry's new album TOTALED is out now via We Are Free.
