To date, Brooklyn disco savants Holy Ghost! have released a total of two original songs–2007's still-club-ubiquitous "Hold On" and last year's "I Will Come Back". When their new EP Static On The Wire drops on May 18 through DFA, that number will increase to seven, with a reprise of "I Will Come Back" and three new ones, including the elegantly taut "Say My Name," which is essentially a six-and-a-half-minute time machine ride to Times Square circa 1980. And people say quality control is dead.
