PREMIERE: Headman - Assassin (Shout Out Out Out Out Remix)
It's not unusual for guitar bands working under 'post-punk' guises to cosey up to disco in the hope that some of its clubland cool rubs off, but this Shout Out Out Out Out remix of "Assassin" approaches from the other angle: underpinning Headman's warped, winding acid disco with air-cutting Hannett snares and sinuous bass tug. The original's on new Headman album 1923, out now through Relish.
