DOWNLOAD: Woods - I Was Gone
Brooklyn lo-fi linchpins Woods have a new album called At Echo Lake in the can, and we use that idiom purposefully–it's tinny and sharp-edged, like they're broadcasting over radio waves from thirty years ago (kind of like that one Dennis Quaid movie). Precedent MP3 "I Was Gone" is brief (running length: 1:53) but isn't sprinting, another mellow porch song that can't bother itself with something as tangential as a "bridge," and is ultimately better for it.
