Tobacco is like a backwoods version of the Dust Brothers–beats pushing into the red, smeared with chainsaw synths and other sounds made from items that were probably stolen from a meth lab littered with Beastie Boys records. Fitting, then, that former Dust Brothers collaborator Beck guests on "Fresh Hex," donning the funky, weirdo white kid suit he used to wear so well. It, along with the Ministry-gone-art-school "Sweatmother," is on the new Tobacco album, Maniac Meat, which anticon are releasing on May 25.
