DJ B-Roc and Mr. JPatt of The Knocks have been producing deep cuts for some time—deftly slicing anyone from Passion Pit to Andrew W.K.—and today they’ve put their hands on two of their own. First, their take on “Starry Eyed” featuring Samuel is ephemeral, rising and falling with all the feverish electricity of the last dance of the summer. Samuel’s debut (developed by the duo) shall be unleashed by Startime/Columbia Records this fall. Then, dabble in the ecstatic club-disco of “Blackout” due on HeavyRoc Music on May 4.
