Tommie Sunshine has seen his fair share of sunrises. In a recent interview with Spinner, he explained the origins of his nickname: "In Chicago, when I used to go to the raves, I would always be on the dance floor well into the morning. I think somebody at one point said, 'Good morning, sunshine.' And I was like, you know what? That works!" So, the bearded, longhaired house connoisseur knows pre- and post-dawn craziness, and new single "5AM (Girl Like You)" is a distillation of that mania. Dutch duo Mightyfools were one of the acts summoned for remix duties, and their wavy, rubbery version is the one we've got below.
