To us, it seems there are two extremes of the Danish musical spectrum—on one exists a type of gauzy, ethereal dreampop and on the other is this White Lies remix of The Kissaway Trail. That’s not to say “SDP” doesn’t soar like most songs from the Odense quintet, but before it does, it screws and claws up from a metal-spoked hell. By the time the darkness lifts, you’re not sure you want it to. The Kissaway Trail's Austin assault begins this Thursday (those dates after the jump), while their LP, produced by Peter Katis (Interpol, The National, Sigur Rós’ Jónsi), will drop in April.
