They say every angel is terrifying, but we rather like the voice behind Active Child. Pat Grossi has inspired hyperbole worse than even that, and frankly it’s all true—in “I’m In Your Church At Night,” his otherworldly call is paired against a golden wash of synths that breaks and swells with every beat and twinkling pop. In essence, Active Child is worthwhile in a way very few bands are. Grossi is currently tweaking his forthcoming EP for Filter and probably brushing his teeth with holy water before his Austin dates, which materialize after the jump.
