After a successful initial link-up, Brooklyn selectors Nick Catchdubs and Proper Villains shift their attention to Chicago/New Jersey rap duo Kidz In The Hall, who have a new album, Land Of Make Believe, dropping on March 9 through Duck Down. Their take on "Flickin'" builds nicely off mutated funky rhythm, eventually hitting anthem-ville when the wavy, elastic synth tones arrive in the chorus. We're told the Kidz have been performing this version on their current Crowd Control Tour (with Donnis, Izza Kizza, and 88-Keys–dates on their MySpace), so, you know, job well done!
