Winsome songbirds Ortolan are an indie Partridge Family: three sisters (and a sister-in-law) who craft the kind of plucky, relatable harmonies that invoke best friends and first kisses. According to this, they also love to bake and don’t pronounce the name of their band correctly, which is awesome. Below, their ‘50s-style coffeepop brings back a kind of unfettered joy and curiosity we hadn’t remembered since pulling up to the auditorium before the big dance.
