We were smitten with Tolstoy-referencing SF-cum-Brooklyn band The Morning Benders all the way back in February of 2008. Now it seems like the whole musicnerdiverse (and beyond) is playing catch-up. Chalk that up to Big Echo, the new LP they've got coming out on March 9 via Rough Trade that was co-produced by Grizzly Bear's Chris Taylor, or the fact that everyone is just finally realizing that these dudes make grandiose pop sound like something you could make on your living room floor instead of a gargantuan studio.
