It took thirteen years for Tim Simenon to release the last Bomb The Bass record, Future Chaos, in 2008. Now we've got another one in less than two. When it rains, it floods, and all that. Of note: Back To Light–the new LP that's out March 2 through !K7–was predominately recorded in São Paulo with the assistance of Gui Boratto, a collaboration birthed from a much-adored remix Boratto did for Future Chaos. Perhaps such a fate will befall Kwesachu, the hybridized name for Londonders Kwes and Micachu, who versioned Back To Light's "The Infinities" into something that sounds like a sewer zombie stuffed with a grandfather clock–all ticking, moving parts inside an otherwise hulking mass. That record would be nuts.
