Album openers are a special breed–they should be little microcosms of the album itself, clamoring ardently for your attention. "Popular Music Intro"–which is, somewhat obviously, the opener to the new Felix Cartal LP of the same name–meets these criteria handily, ballooning over four minutes into a critical mass of rapacious, metallic hard-house. Dim Mak are giving it away before the record arrives on February 23, and we're happily playing the role of pusher.
