Studio wizard, commercial soundtracker, and otherwise exploratory pop musician Rafter has a new opus called Animal Feelings set to drop on April 13 through Asthmatic Kitty, with promises of a head-first dive into sumptuous R&B territory. "Paper" and its gelatinous synths and 3/4 tempo are really more sprightly than sumptuous, but those coyly sung "motherfuckers" have us convinced of these promises. As long as it's not a concept album about veganism, we're all in.
