RCRD OF THE DAY: Yeasayer - O.N.E.
We usually steer clear of drinking Kool-Aid, but Yeasayer's second single "O.N.E."--off their forthcoming album Odd Blood-- is the type of bubbling, tropical-swirled psych-pop that we'd gargle, bathe, and live in, if only the laws of physics allowed. A lucky few can catch the first (sold-out) shows in NYC before the band embarks on a slew of rapturous performances around the country and the world. Those who can't make it may ingest the rest of Yeasayer's sun-choked and immensely beautiful sophomore effort when it hits stores February 9 via Secretly Canadian.
