DOWNLOAD: High Places - On Giving Up
So, High Places left Brooklyn for California. This much we knew. What we didn't know was if and how that move would effect their amorphous, swimming-in-the-Aurora-Borealis sound. That is, until we heard "On Giving Up," which aside from being the most straightforward High Places song we've ever heard, is a jam and a half. You can actually dance to it in a non noodle-like fashion! And it will probably sound really good in your car (or anywhere else)! Just push that downward-facing arrow button already. High Places Vs. Mankind is out on April 6 via Thrill Jockey.
