DOWNLOAD: The Ruby Suns - Cranberry
The sprightly kiwis in The Ruby Suns have a new album coming out through Sub Pop called Fight Softly, and, as happens often, the label is releasing a digital preface in the form of "Cranberry." Its first minute is pretty delirious, like being caught in Animal Collective's tumble dryer (do they even wash their clothes?), but, when the springy synths come in and Ryan McPhun starts singing like a cherub, we envision ourselves as gallivanting island explorers and that's pretty awesome for a Tuesday in January. Also, it alleviates our worries about posting a photo of a dude in a poncho.
