Initially conceived as a live vehicle for Cale Parks' solo work, Brahms are technically one of the newest bands in town, debuting their newly congealed selves in the early hours of January 1. What they do is tangential to Mr. Parks' dreamland-inspiring, electronically assisted pop, though the overall vibe is more brotherly. Their recorded output to date is below, for more you're going to have to go see them live, which shouldn't be hard unless you don't live in New York (sorry). Their next date is at Brooklyn's Glasslands this Friday (1/22), with Telepathe, Boy Crisis, and Apache Beat.
