Way back in April, we premiered a retwist of Ron Browz' "Pop Champagne" that was the first offering from Sammy Bananas and Maggie Horn's pseudo-covers project Telephoned. Last week, after months of Telephonedlessness, Fool's Gold announced they are releasing a self-titled debut EP from the duo tomorrow (Jan. 19), and are celebrating with a release party at New York's Ella the following day. More pertinently, we were tasked with posting the first Telephoned mixtape, Off The Hook, which contains tracks from the EP and a bounty of other wildly saccharine goodies.
