Temporary Pleasure seemed a misleading title for Simian Mobile Disco's second album - the London duo kept an iron-fisted grip on international clubland and dance blogs throughout 2009, and this remix of "Cruel Intentions" looks set to keep things their way in 2010: Heartbreak softening the focus of the original into something more pensive and aching, if no less club-ready. Thankfully, Beth Ditto remains–The Gossip frontwoman delivers one of her most soulful vocals to date.
