Are you feeling glum this morning? No? Well, the world is a horrible place and no one likes you. Now that you’re ready, here’s the latest heartstab from Soap&Skin, the cut-flesh-and-blood manifestation of who you fancied you were, stomping around as a teenaged malcontent. Except Anja Plaschg was raised on an Austrian pig farm and reclaimed her pain by recording an astounding record keyed with brooding works and a voice from purgatory. She didn’t just “hate life” cause her dad wouldn’t drive her to the Danbury mall that time (I’ll never forgive him).

Lovetune for Vacuum will be available in the US later this spring (though you moody UK kids have been blasting this for months) and will contain bonus material not released on the o.g. version.
