New York claims more than enough "tastemaking DJs", but few deserve the appellation more than JDH & Dave P, curators and residents of the five-years-running FIXED party. Erol Alkan, Soulwax, Simian Mobile Disco, The xx, Hot Chip, Basement Jaxx–their list of guests is seemingly endless; add to that Dave's work at Making Time in his home base of Philly, and you have what is essentially a Northeast clubbing institution. We asked them to assemble a winter mix for us and they masterfully obliged, distilling cuts from The Knife, Florence and the Machine, Boys Noize and others from our archive into these seamless ninety minutes.
