French indie band The Teenagers meets French-named coffeepop trio Au Revoir Simone in this "Shadows" remix, where keyboard-enhanced hooks and an infectious 80s bassline blend into songbird vocals with sugary perfection. It's a synth-heavy alloy of melody-laden love and sleazy Parisian pop, and for all the reasons it shouldn't work, it absolutely does.
